At Buun Studio, I explore my relationship with the cultural concept of Buun (บุญ) through scenes, objects, and living beings. To me, Buun embodies whimsical and mystical qualities while carrying multiple meanings. It can refer to merit (or the act of making merit), light as opposed to darkness, luck, or good karma.

Buun is something that is actively cultivated. Sometimes it is accumulated through good deeds in this life; other times, it is carried over from past lives. In my work, Buun gathers in small pockets, waiting to be discovered and captured within the moments of everyday life.
